Well, I’m not really comfortable assigning blame to Jake with regard to his treatment of Dirk specifically, because I’m not really sure exactly how pressured he felt about being in that relationship. I don’t want to accidentally imply that anyone is obliged to be accommodating in or of a situation which makes them uncomfortable, for instance, and also because I’m aware I have a Dirkbias. I do think his actions with regard to it were symptomatic off his flaws in general, though.
